Birmingham may be one of Britain's oldest cities, but its city life is very much grounded on the 21st century timeline, though it still preserves some of its most important historical structures. Birmingham is the place of major European events and concerts, which of course results to its ever colorful streets marked by chains of boutiques and designer shops, roaring nightlife and some of the trendiest dining areas in all of Britain. Historically, Birmingham had a major role in the industrial revolution, made manifest in its architecture, canals, and its overall atmosphere that screams the Heart of England.

The top of the day lists include shopping- an ever thrilling experience, especially when traipsing through the rows of boutiques, the new Bullring, and of course, the Jewellry Quarter which offers some of the world's most enchanting gems. It also houses plenty of arts and culture places such as the New Art Gallery Walsall, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, Birmingham Library and Archives, and Ikon Art Gallery.
